Phase 1: Top 5 Techs Award
Description: Recognizes ten retail installation professionals who have developed a reputation for their skill in areas other than fabrication. The individuals possess a unique grasp of wiring, integration, installation concepts and product knowledge and actively communicate this knowledge to others; to the point where they are recognized as reliable resources by staff and industry peers.
Qualification: Must have been blind nominated by an industry professional or selected as a nominee by a special committee of members of the industry awards committee.
Nomination Process: After the nomination period closes the judges will evaluate the list of candidates that were blindly nominated by the industry and will select the top 10 candidates to be voted on by the industry.
Selection Process: The industry will then vote on the candidates put forth by the judges to determine the winner. (NOTE: Though you are not required to make a video, you can choose to make a video to use to share with the industry on social media, which could help garner you votes and improve your chances at winning trusted tech.)
Award Process: The Top 10 Winners are announced via Mobile Electronics Magazine’s Hotwire newsletter and listed in an upcoming issue of the magazine. Winners receive a signed certificate as well as digital versions of each and logos for marketing.
